Max Estrella opened its doors in 1994. The foundational vision was to present both a new generation of emerging and consolidated artists from Spain and abroad. A coherent roster represents our purpose of breaking new ground in contemporary art, whether it is video, painting, photography, sculpture and installation, with a special focus on new technologies. With fully-dedicated creators and collaborative efforts, Max Estrella aims to find balance between innovative ideas and exceptional techniques and discourses. Over the years, the gallery has grown in notoriety and prestige, gaining attention from collectors and critics.

Max Estrella regularly attends art fairs in Europe and America, recently expanding onto Asia. Collaborations with international museums are frequent, as well as with curators.
