About
Casa Hoffmann is a research and exhibition space in Bogotá (Colombia) that specializes in galvanizing new artistic research and is dedicated to producing and distributing contemporary art projects commissioned by invited curators and academics. Our organization presents these curatorial projects to museums, foundations and other institutions. The way we are structured emphasizes documentation in the research and curation process, such that the projects have longevity past the dates of the exhibitions hosted.
In 2019 Casa Hoffmann launched a programme which represented artists that are at the forefront of artistic experimentation with sound and the Low-Tech movement in Latin America, with the aim of bringing the growing unique artistic talent from the Colombian scene to an international audience. Since its inception, Casa Hoffmann has focused on investigations exploring the intersections between contemporary art, science and technology.
