Founded in 2016, Janaina Torres Galeria is committed to a curatorial program that reflects a broad cultural context, attentive to both the formal movements of contemporary aesthetics and their relevance to social and political contexts. This is reflected in the selection of artists, whose vitality and power has been built up, developed and monitored by the gallery, which is present at every stage of the production process.

With responsibility and commitment, it promotes and places artists in relevant public and private collections in Brazil and abroad, so that their legacy is recognized and supported. The more than 40 institutions it works with include Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo, Instituto Inhotim, Museu de Arte do Rio de Janeiro, Museu Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia (Madrid), El Espacio 23 - Jorge Perez Collection (Miami) and Akzonobel Art Foundation (Netherlands), among others. He has also participated in more than 20 editions of national and international art fairs, such as SP-Arte, ArtRio, Pinta Miami (USA) and ZonaMaco (Mexico City). 

With the mission of bringing together and connecting artists, curators, collectors and art lovers, it seeks to guarantee true access for the most diverse audiences to a strong and vibrant Brazilian artistic production.
